Prof. Dr. F. A. Sobhani, from the School of Business and Economics at United International University (UIU), Dhaka, is the President of the Bangladesh Society for Private University Academics (BSPUA). Established on 24 June 2021, BSPUA is the first formal professional association dedicated to private university academics in Bangladesh, aiming to become a center of excellence for professional development, quality enhancement in higher education, and national progress aligned with the Government’s priorities and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Alhamdulillah, I had the privilege of visiting Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), a leading university in Saudi Arabia. It was a fruitful meeting with the Dean of the Research Development, Directors of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) and the Professional Development Center (PDC) at PMU. As discussed, they have agreed to strengthen mutual collaboration and support between PMU and UIU. I also had the opportunity to meet esteemed academics and scholars representing Saudi Arabia, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Sudan, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Special thanks to Prof. Dr. Md.
